AC on 96 SC2

    Hey guys,

    My daughters 96 (or 97?) SC2 airconditioning system has started working
    marginally and there's a bit of a ticking noise that seems to be coming from
    the AC compressor. The noise stops when the AC is turned off. Car has about
    80k on it if I recall correctly.

    Any help will be appreciated!

    Kinda hard to guess what is happening, without actually checking
    physically. Just a guess, do you see the clutch engaging and
    disengaging, resulting in ticking/clicking noises?

    If you think you have an actual AC problem, then I would have the car
    looked at by a compitent mechanic. In my expericences with an older
    car, I took the time to get epa certified, since as you might have
    guessed, AC work can be expensive.
