Are these common flaws?

  1. Newbie owner, first Saturn ever, a 2002 LW300 w/36k on clock, all
seems very well except: Red warning light for "low cooling fluids"
comes on after ignition cycle for all displays is over, stays on for
varying number of minutes, goes away. Had fluids checked and
    double-checked.
Also: Green status indicator for headlights failed on first day (green
status light for automatic daytime running lights works). Blue
    highbeam indicator works.
    Are these common flaws?

Well, there may be a sensor problem with the cooling fluid.

As for the headlamps... the green light is supposed to go out when you
turn the headlamps on. The green light is only there to tell you your
daytime running lights are engaged, and they wink out when the headlamps
    come on.

So it would seem the green indicator is working as designed.
