Cruise Control Part II

    Anyone know how the cruise control unit senses the speed in a Saturn SL1 5
    speed?

    Is it as simple as a magnet on the drive shaft and a prox or reed switch,
    etc?

    The vehicle speed sensor is in the top of the trans.
