I'm Tellin You

my 03 Ion did a ''twilight zoner'' tonight,took a short drive to the
store,i turned the key to start started normal,then,the message center
read that SERVICE VEHICLE,it flashed all the way to the store.shut the
car off went inside to shop,came out,started it it up,no problems with
the SERVICE flashing,just the normal trip meter& odo.So,was it a
glitch?.If I call saturn ,they'll say bring it in for a code
reading,that means to make an appointment.

 

The Service Engine light in my 98 SL1 will come on if it is a cold but humid
day. Once it warms up it is fine. Might be the same kind of thing starting
for yours.

 

i had mine do the same thing it turn out to be the o2 sensor the best way
to find out is to go a auto parts store that has the code reader to rent
then just test it there in there lot and they should be able to tell you
what the code means save you lots of money and time
