I have a squeaky clutch pedal. I know that I can order two kinds of parts from Rockauto for the slave and the master. Mine is a 99 sc2 with over 213,000 original miles. Anyone know if it's the sealed oil that has left the clutch linkage pathway? I've had this for a long time, but now the pedal travel has to be affected because it's got to go all the way to the floor to make shifting easy. Any clue from anyone about which parts are involved with the squeaking?

My 95 SC2 clutch pedal has squeaked for all 29 years of its life since the moment I left the dealership lot. It's not a horrendous sound, it's not a loud sound, and there are no leaks. It's probably at the joint of the back of the clutch pedal and the rod for the master cylinder. There is a lot of force pushing back on your foot, and that force is therefore also on where the two parts I mentioned connect.

You can drive yourself crazy or you can stop thinking about it. Once you stop thinking about it, wait 3 months and you'll notice that you don't hear it anymore. Nor will you
